Terms
Last updated 23 October 2026
These are the rules for using URBDY. By making an account you agree to them. We've kept them short and in plain English.
Who we are
URBDY is run by Xpo8 Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong. Contact us at support@urbdy.com.
Who can use URBDY
- You must be 18 or over.
- One account per person. Keep your sign-in to yourself.
- The information you give us (like your date of birth and student proof) must be true.
Not medical advice
URBDY gives general guidance on training and food. It isn't medical advice and doesn't replace a doctor, dietitian or physio. Check with a doctor before starting if you have a health condition, an injury, are pregnant, or aren't sure.
Stop exercising if you feel pain, dizziness or chest pain. Calorie and nutrition numbers are estimates.
If food, weight or exercise ever starts to feel like it's taking over, you're not alone. Beat, the UK eating disorder charity, can help.
Plans, trials and payment
- URBDY costs £2.99 a month or £19.99 a year for students, and £6.99 a month or £49.99 a year for everyone else.
- New accounts can start with a 7-day free trial. We remind you two days before it ends. If you don't cancel, your plan starts and you're charged.
- Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's rules.
- When a trial or plan ends without renewing, the app locks until you choose a plan. Your data stays safe and comes back when you do.
- If prices change, we'll tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel.
The student price
- The student price is for people studying at a UK university or college. You prove it with one enrolment document.
- Your student price lasts until the end date we set from your proof (usually your course end, or 30 September). After that, send new proof or move to the standard price.
- If proof turns out to be false, we can end the student price and close the account.
Posts, photos, chats and shared foods
You own what you post. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you've chosen (approved followers, your clubs) for as long as it's on URBDY. Delete it and it's gone.
Don't post anything that:
- is illegal, hateful, bullying, threatening or sexual;
- pushes extreme dieting, weight loss or eating disorders, or sells drugs, steroids or supplements;
- shows other people without their OK, or shares someone's private details;
- is spam, an advert, or someone else's work you don't have the right to use.
Foods you share must match the real label. Anyone can report a post, comment, person or food, and block anyone. We review reports and can remove content or close accounts that break these rules.
Fair play in leagues
- Leagues reward turning up consistently, never weight loss.
- Only log workouts you really did. Imported history doesn't earn league points.
- Gym buddy checks only count if you actually trained together.
- We can remove points, results or accounts that cheat.
Closing accounts
You can delete your account any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law stops us.
Our responsibility to you
We work hard to keep URBDY running and accurate, but we can't promise it will never go down or never contain a mistake. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law, or our responsibility for death or injury caused by our negligence.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
